Chime → tapped in, read-only
Do this now · ~15 minChime has no outside connection for an assistant to log in with, and I would not use one if it existed. So we tap it the safe way: every alert, deposit and statement mirrors to your money inbox, and I read that stream. You keep the only login. Nothing can be moved from my side — ever.
- 1
Turn every Chime alert on · 2 min
Chime app → Settings → Notifications: enable deposits, every card transaction, low balance, and transfers. Leave nothing off — silence is what hides problems.
- 2
Mirror alerts to Money@dbatr.com · 3 min
In the email account Chime already notifies, add one filter: from "no-reply@chime.com" → forward to Money@dbatr.com. One filter, set once, works forever. Your login is never shared.
- 3
Route statements the same way · 5 min
Chime → Settings → Documents → Monthly statements: paperless on. Download the last 12 months as PDF and drop them into /my-records so the history is yours, not theirs.
- 4
Set the automatics so no decision is needed · 4 min
Direct deposit on, round-up savings on, and the Chime card added to Apple/Google Wallet so the plastic stays home. Fixed bills go on auto-pay; anything variable waits for your tap.
- 5
Confirm the daily money line · 1 min
Once alerts arrive, Chime shows up in your daily brief: what came in, what cleared, what is due, and anything unfamiliar flagged inside a day.
Guardrails on this link
- I never ask for your Chime password, PIN, card number or SSN — not once, not ever.
- Read-only by design: I can see the money line and prepare a payment, but only your tap sends it.
- No card details are stored in DBATR. Alerts and statements only.
- If a charge looks wrong, you get it flagged with the amount, merchant and date — not a guess.
Money inbox: Money@dbatr.com — alerts and statements only, never credentials.
