Read this before you call
- Bring your docket number. Court, index/docket number, next appearance date and the name of any attorney already assigned. It cuts intake in half.
- Ask about conflicts up front. If an office already represents the other party, they must decline — get that answer on the first call, not the third week.
- Record relief is separate. Sealing under CPL 160.59, Clean Slate and certificates of relief are different tracks. Say which one you want.
