Doctrine
Not the son who never left. The one who came back and built something bigger.

Why this page exists
An entire generation left — through addiction, incarceration, illness, poverty, or a system that lost their paperwork. This is the map back.
The old story rewards the one who never left. That is not this story. Here, the person who went out into the worst of it and came back carrying what they learned is the most qualified person in the room — because they know exactly where the road breaks.
Chapter one
Some people walk out. Some are pushed. Some are taken by addiction, by a court, by a hospital bed, by a system that had no place for them. However it happened, the door closed and the years kept moving without you in them.
Chapter two
This is the part nobody puts on a resume. Detox at home. Beds you did not choose. Paperwork that decided your life. It is not wasted time — it is field research paid for in full, and it is the reason you can hear what a person in crisis is actually saying.
Chapter three
One honest sentence changes the trajectory: I am done living like this. No lightning, no crowd. Just a decision made alone and then kept, over and over, on the days it would have been easier to quit.
Chapter four
Coming back is harder than leaving, because you return to people who remember the worst version of you. You do not argue with that memory. You outbuild it — quietly, in public, on the record.
Chapter five
The prodigal generation does not come home for the feast. It comes home with a platform, a patent, a protocol, and an open door — and hands the inheritance forward to everyone still out in the field.
How DBATR receives anyone coming back — from prison, treatment, a hospital, or years of nothing.
No interrogation
You are never asked to explain where you were before you are helped. Help first, story later, story optional.
No income check, no waiting list
Core support is free. Returning from prison, hospital, treatment, or years of nothing costs you nothing here.
Gaps are chapters
Time away is written as a chapter on the transparent resume, not scrubbed out. Honesty is the qualification.
Family reattaches first
Children, parents, siblings, the whole family. Reunification is priority one, above every other lane.
A seat, then a role
Everyone who comes back gets a seat at the table. The ones ready to work get a role and a share of what they help create.
