Independent Networking & Promotion Agreement
Crystal may introduce people to DBATR and speak well of the name and the ideas behind it, in her own way and on her own time — and that is all this agreement gives her.
Who and what
DBATR Enterprises (represented and signed by Jacob Raab) and Crystal Austin, as an independent networker.
Pay: No salary, no retainer, no expenses. If an introduction she made turns into real value for DBATR, she is credited and paid a value-share slice under the published /contracts terms — after the value actually lands, never before.
The agreement, clause by clause
1.What she is allowed to do
Crystal may introduce DBATR to people and organizations she knows, share the public pages and public materials as-is, and describe the mission in her own words. She works when she wants, where she wants, in the way that suits her.
Why it is here: Her network is hers. This is an opportunity to build it into something, not a job with a boss.
2.What she may not say or promise
She may not promise money, services, placements, jobs, timelines, or outcomes. She may not sign anything, spend anything, or agree to anything on behalf of DBATR. If someone asks for a commitment, the answer is "I will pass that to Jake."
Why it is here: Only Jake can bind DBATR. Anything else creates promises to families that nobody can keep.
3.No power, no control, no status
This agreement gives Crystal no title, no rank, no vote, no management role, no access to accounts, records, systems, funds, or private data, and no say in any decision. Nothing here can be described to anyone as a leadership, executive, partner, or ownership role.
Why it is here: Standing at DBATR is earned by conduct over time. This is the first chance to show it — not a position.
4.Jake's personal space and boundaries
Contact with Jake is limited to DBATR business, in writing, through the address in this agreement. Crystal does not speak for Jake, does not make decisions about his home, health, money, legal matters, children, or schedule, and does not represent herself as having any role in his personal life. His personal life is set by him alone. This boundary is a condition of the agreement, not a request.
Why it is here: Jake sets the terms of his own life and livelihood. No one else directs it, in public or in private.
5.No slander of Jake or his family — full stop
Crystal will not make, repeat, forward, imply, or leave standing any false or damaging statement about Jacob Raab, his children, or his family — spoken, written, texted, posted, or hinted at, to anyone, including courts, agencies, employers, or online. Anything already said that is untrue is to be corrected or withdrawn in writing. If it happens once, this agreement ends the same day and any pending credit or value-share is void.
Why it is here: Written this simply on purpose, so it can be interpreted the same way by anyone who reads it — no argument about what was meant.
6.Honesty both ways
She tells the truth about DBATR, and DBATR tells the truth about her contribution. Every introduction she makes is logged, and she can see her own log any time. If we decline one of her introductions, we say why.
Why it is here: Transparency has to run in both directions or it is just monitoring.
7.Her own mailbox
She is issued LetsNetwork@dbatr.com for sending and receiving networking mail only. It is hers to use while this agreement is active, is not a personal DBATR mailbox, and carries no authority. Personal mailboxes at DBATR are earned.
Why it is here: Her old addresses were failing, and a networker with a broken inbox cannot network.
8.Privacy and no dossiers
She does not collect, store, or pass on private information about anyone. She shares contact details only with that person's knowledge. DBATR does the same about her: consent-based checks only, no secret files.
9.The 💎 check — signed consent before anything starts
Before this agreement takes effect, Crystal completes the DBATR 💎 vetting: a comprehensive background check run by a licensed screening provider, plus a signed release authorizing that provider to obtain the records DBATR requires — identity, criminal history in every county and state she has lived, civil and family court filings, driving record, professional licenses and any discipline, employment and volunteer history involving children, sex-offender registry, and any prior statements she has made about Jacob Raab or his family in a legal or official setting. She signs the provider's own disclosure and authorization forms. She receives a full copy of everything the check returns, at the same time DBATR does. She may withdraw her consent at any time, and if she does, this agreement simply does not start or immediately ends.
Why it is here: Everyone who carries the DBATR name in front of families is checked the same way, with their signature first. Nothing is gathered in secret, and nothing here is optional — this is the price of admission for every single person, including Jake.
10.Same standard for Jake
Jacob Raab publishes his own record openly under the DBATR transparency standard, and will provide his own screening on request. Nobody is asked to disclose more than the founder already has.
Why it is here: A standard that only points one direction is not a standard.
11.Independent, not employed
Crystal is not an employee, agent, partner, or joint venturer. She sets her own hours and methods, uses her own equipment, and is responsible for her own taxes. Nothing here creates any other relationship of any kind.
12.Paperless and signed
This agreement lives digitally, is signed digitally, and is sealed and verifiable under the DBATR trust layer. Both sides hold an identical copy. Changes are only real when both sides sign the new version.
What this does not give
- No authority to promise, sign, spend, or commit anything.
- No title, rank, seniority, ownership, or equity.
- No access to systems, accounts, funds, case files, or anyone's private data.
- No role, voice, or standing in Jake's personal life or household.
- No claim on DBATR property, brand, or intellectual property.
- No expectation of renewal, employment, or a future position.
How it ends
- Either side can end it any time with one written message. No penalty, no explanation required.
- It ends immediately, without notice, if the no-slander clause is broken, if a promise is made in DBATR's name, or if the boundary clause is crossed.
- It never starts, and any pending mailbox is closed, if the 💎 check is not completed and the release not signed.
- When it ends, the mailbox is closed and she stops presenting herself as connected to DBATR. Credit already earned on value already landed is still paid.
A working mailbox
Networking mail sends and receives at LetsNetwork@dbatr.com. One address, one purpose — introductions only. It is a seat, not a personal DBATR mailbox, and it closes when the agreement does. See every front door.
How standing is earned
Nobody arrives with authority here. This is the published path, so it is never a mystery and never a favor.
- Keep every word of the agreement for the full term. No exceptions, no near-misses.
- Make real introductions that hold up — people glad they were introduced.
- Tell the truth when it costs something, including about your own mistakes.
- Respect the boundaries without needing them restated.
- Then, and only then, more responsibility is offered — one step at a time.
How we write every agreement
This is the standard for all DBATR contracts going forward — simple enough for anyone to interpret, strong enough to hold, transparent on both sides.
- Short sentences. Everyday words. If a term needs a lawyer to explain it, rewrite it.
- Both sides get the exact same document. Nothing is disclosed to one side only.
- Every promise names who does what, by when, and what happens if it does not happen.
- No hidden agendas. If there is a motive, it is written down.
- Either side can end it in writing. No traps, no penalties for leaving honestly.
- Nothing takes effect until Jake signs it. AI prepares and verifies; it never signs.
