Dogs Out The Pound
Nobody sits in a cage waiting on paperwork.
Not people. Not dogs.
Same principle that runs the rest of this platform: the help shouldn't cost you your dignity, and it shouldn't wait on a fee. We cover adoption fees, foster supplies, treatable vet bills and the ride home, and we hand the credit to the shelters doing the work. No strings attached.
Four ways a dog gets out
Cover an adoption fee
The single biggest thing standing between a good dog and a good home is a fee somebody can't swing this week. We pay it. No application to us, no interview, no strings attached.
Foster for two weeks
Two weeks out of a kennel resets a dog. We cover crate, food, bowls, leash and any vet visit while they're with you, so fostering costs you nothing but couch space.
Drive one dog home
Transport is the quiet dealbreaker — dogs sit because nobody can get them from the shelter to the family. Our rides network moves people; it can move dogs.
Cover the medical
Heartworm, dental, a leg that needs pinning. A treatable dog is not an unadoptable dog. Bills get paid, dogs get listed.
Fund a specific program
Every gift is recorded against the program you choose, so the money stays where you pointed it. Card details are handled by Stripe — we never see them.

Shelters we're reaching out to
Outreach is going out to each of these. Listing here means we've asked to partner — not that they've signed on yet. We'll mark the confirmed ones as they come back.

Local vet partners
A dog that leaves the shelter needs a vet within reach. These are clinics we are building relationships with — starting with places recommended by the families we serve.
South Towns Equine
East Aurora, NY
Equine & large animal · Family-recommended
Recommended by a local family. Full-service equine and large-animal practice with a reputation for honest, hands-on care. Outreach will confirm small-animal capacity and sliding-scale options for DBATR families.
Why this belongs here
Recovery isn't only clinical. A dog gives a person in early recovery a reason to get up, a schedule, and something that needs them back. Our partner programs will be able to request a placement for a resident who's ready — with the fee, the supplies and the vet care covered on our side, so a "yes" never depends on somebody's bank balance.
